General Terms and Conditions of Sale.

Scope of application

These general terms and conditions of sale apply to all product sales made on the website www.bu-shop.com, operated by Arnaud Croonen, whose registered office is located at Rue Landuyt 26 boîte 0201, 1440 Braine-le-Château, registered under the BCE number 1008.358.946 in Belgium.

Products and availability

The products offered for sale are those presented on the site, subject to stock availability. Bū Shop reserves the right to modify the product offerings at any time.

Custom creations

Some 3D-printed objects are custom creations and may show slight variations compared to the visuals on the website. Furthermore, any order including customization (choice of color, specific dimensions, etc.) is excluded from the right of withdrawal, except in cases of defect or non-conformity.

Intellectual Property and Custom Designs

The designs offered by Bū Shop are protected by intellectual property rights and cannot be reproduced without authorization. If the customer provides their own design for 3D printing, they guarantee that they hold the rights to it and release Bū Shop from any liability in the event of a dispute related to intellectual property.

Tolerances and minor defects

3D-printed objects may exhibit slight imperfections due to the printing process (visible lines, small burrs, etc.). These characteristics are inherent to 3D-printing and do not constitute hidden defects or grounds for return.

Materials and usage precautions

All products sold by Bū Shop are printed in PLA plastic (polylactic acid). This material is biodegradable but not intended for food use, unless otherwise stated.

  • Do not ingest: PLA objects should not be put in the mouth or used to hold food or hot liquids.
  • Heat sensitivity: PLA softens at temperatures above 50°C. It is recommended to avoid prolonged exposure to heat sources (radiators, direct sunlight, dishwashers, etc.).
  • Not suitable for outdoor use: PLA printed objects are not suitable for prolonged outdoor use, as they may degrade under UV and moisture exposure.

Prohibition of use for critical or dangerous purposes

The 3D printed products sold by Bū Shop are not certified for use involving safety risks. It is strictly prohibited to use these products in critical applications, including but not limited to:

  • As structural elements subjected to significant loads.
  • In electrical or electronic devices exposed to high voltages.
  • As safety parts in personal protective equipment or vehicles.
  • As toys or objects intended for children under 3 years old.

Bū Shop disclaims any responsibility for inappropriate use of the products, particularly in a context that endangers the safety of property and individuals.

Usage and responsibility

The 3D-printed objects sold by Bū Shop are intended for specific use. They must not be used for critical applications (medical, food-related, mechanical, etc.) without proper certification. Bū Shop cannot be held liable in case of improper use of the product by the customer.

Order

The customer places an order via the website. The validation of the order implies unconditional acceptance of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale. A confirmation email is sent after payment validation.

Prices and Payment

Prices are indicated in euros, all taxes included (TTC). Accepted payment methods are listed here. Payment is due at the time of order.

Manufacturing and delivery times

Since the products are printed on demand, a manufacturing time is necessary before shipping. This time may vary depending on the complexity and the quantity of the ordered items. The products are then delivered to the address provided by the customer at the time of ordering. Delivery times are given as an indication and may vary depending on the carriers. Bū Shop cannot be held responsible for delivery delays attributable to the carrier.

Delivery area and shipping fees

All deliveries are handled by Bpost. Delivery fees are fixed and apply as follows:

  • Belgium: Free
  • France, Germany, Netherlands and Luxembourg: 12,10 euros.

The delivery fees are indicated before the order is confirmed. Bū Shop reserves the right to modify these rates in case of changes in shipping costs.

Right of withdrawal

In accordance with Belgian legislation, the customer has a period of 14 days from the receipt of the product to exercise their right of withdrawal without having to justify reasons or pay penalties. Return costs are the responsibility of the customer.

Warranties and Claims

The products are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity and the warranty against hidden defects. Any claim must be sent to info@bu-shop.com.  

Personal data

The personal information collected is processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The customer has the right to access, rectify, and delete their data by contacting info@bu-shop.com.

Disputes and applicable law

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale are governed by Belgian law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought as a priority. Failing an agreement, the courts of Walloon Brabant will have sole jurisdiction.
